Chapter 2 structure and principle of dispenser

2.(1)complete machine structure and working principle

2.1.1 complete machine structure

fuel dispenser (dispenser) is comprise of flow meter, ancillary devices and additional devices.

2.1.1.1 flow meter is generally consist with the transducer and indicator.

transducer is also called the flow sensor or flow transducer, is the primary element of flow meter. It transduce the mechanical number (rotary or displacement) of delivered quantity into the electrical signal ( number or analog ), transmitted to the totalizer and presented by the indicator.

Indicator and totalizer

The totalizer serves to transmit the signals of measuring transducer, the indicator show the successive values. The dispenser can be divided into the mechanical display dispenser, digital display dispenser and computerized dispenser.

2.1.1.2 Ancillary devices

The ancillary devices is used to realize the special function of dispenser, including:

1.return to zero set  2.total number indicator 3. payable value indicator 4.pre-place device
5.printer

All these five parts, the return to zero set and total number indicator are indispensable, the reminding three can't be equipped according to their function.

Additional Devices

2.1.1.3 Additional Devices are used to guarantee the right and simplified measure, including:

1.pump 2.gas eliminator 3.filter 4.sight glass 5.hose 6.nozzle
